An abandoned trailer and its contents have been destroyed in a fire at Ogbojo in the Greater Accra Region.
The fire occurred on Sunday, August 9, 2026, as two other separate fires were also recorded at the Circle Roundabout and along the Teshie Bush Road.
According to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), the fire at Ogbojo started in an abandoned trailer and destroyed the vehicle and everything inside it.
Two buses parked close to the trailer were also at risk of catching fire. However, firefighters who arrived at the scene managed to save the buses.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
At the Circle Roundabout, firefighters also responded to a separate fire involving refuse. The fire was quickly put out before it could spread to nearby properties. No injuries or damage were reported.
The third fire occurred along the Teshie Bush Road, where a vehicle caught fire.
Firefighters from the Trade Fair Fire Station responded and managed to put out the blaze. However, the fire destroyed the vehicle’s bonnet, engine compartment and bumper.
No casualties were recorded in the incident.
The GNFS said the three fires occurred at different locations and were handled separately. The causes of the fires remain under investigation.
