Haruna Iddrisu, Minister-designate for Education, appeared before the Appointments Committee of Parliament to be scrutinised for the role of superintending Ghana’s education sector.
The MP for Tamale South served as Minister for Communications from 2009 to 2013, Minister for Trade and Industry from 2013 to 2014, Minister of Employment and Labour Relations from 2014 to 2017, and Minority Leader of Parliament from 2017 to 2023, as part of a tall list of positions.
President John Dramani Mahama nominated Mr. Iddrisu together with eight others on Thursday, January 16, 2025.
