The Parliament of Ghana has announced that it will commence registration for the 9th Parliament of the 4th Republic on Wednesday, December 25, 2024.
In a press release, Parliament said the registration exercise will start with an online process and a physical registration will follow on Thursday, January 2 and end on January 6, 2025.
“Targeted messages inviting members will be sent to members elect via WhatsApp or emails. Members who may need further clarifications or assistance may contact the officers in charge of the registration exercise on telephone number 055 022 2200 or 0503634466,” the release said.
The registration which was initially scheduled for December 23, was postponed due to delays in the Electoral Commission’s (EC) transmission of the list of duly elected members of parliament from the December 7 general elections.
