Emmanuel Antwi shares excitement after dream move to Asante Kotoko

Former Great Olympics midfielder Emmanuel Antwi has shared his excitement after securing dream move Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko.

The 24-year-old completed his move to Kotoko on Tuesday, signing a three-year deal with the Porcupine Warriors.

He is expected to play a huge role for the Ghanaian giants in the upcoming season following a disappointing performance during the 2023/24 campaign.

Speaking to the club’s media, Antwi expressed his joy after completing a dream move to Kotoko.

“I’m very happy to be here. This is a dream come true. It’s been years now, I have always dreamt to play for Kotoko and at last, I have had the opportunity to join them. I’m really happy to be here”

Explaining why he chose Kotoko over other clubs, he said, “I support Kotoko and love everything about the club. I started supporting Kotoko whiles growing up”

Antwi was a standout for Great Olympics in the recently concluded Ghana Premier League campaign despite relegation.

The midfielder will be hoping to adapt to life at Asante Kotoko and make impact.
