The founding President of IMANI Centre for Policy and Education, Franklin Cudjoe has asked the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Boss, Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah to work closely with the acting Inspector General of Police, James Oppong-Boanuh to intensify efforts in restoring confidence in the police administration.

His comments come on the back of a news conference by the Ghana Police Service confirming the death of some four missing missing Takoradi girls.

The IMANI boss believes the CID boss was misled into making her earlier pronouncement on the whereabouts of the missing girls.

Reacting to the media report in a facebook post, Mr. Cudjoe noted “The CID boss was severely misled by internal passive aggressive security capos on this painful issue. She must work with the IGP to restore confidence in the service.”

He expressed his heartfelt condolence to the families of the girls and the entire Ghanaian populace.

“May the true remain of the girls be interred, but their souls should find peace only when their story has been truthfully told. May mother Mary comfort the families. Hail Mary, full of grace, ” Mr. Cudjoe’s facebook post read.
