Shooter, victim in Ayeduase road rage dead
A man shot thrice after criticising a driver’s carelessness on the road in Ayeduase, Kumasi, has died.
Kwame Amoah, a painter died Tuesday while receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) several hours after he was shot in the morning by the driver of a private saloon car.
The driver, Samson Azanbaga, after shooting Amoah thrice in the stomach later put the gun to his head and pulled the trigger at the scene close to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
He also died while receiving medical attention at the same facility.
Kwame Amoah leaves behind a widow and five children.

Eyewitness account
A man who witnessed the incident narrated that it happened in a flash and “I just saw the guy take a gun from his car and then shot Amoah”.
He wondered how an argument could result in gunshots as he emphasised, “the way the guy was driving was not good at all”.
The driver was said to have made attempts to flee but other cars blocked the road to prevent him from leaving the scene until police arrived.
On arrival of the police team dispatched to the scene, the mob had gathered around the KIA vehicle and demanded the driver to come out.
Sensing danger, the private car driver also shot himself.
The two bled profusely, and onlookers rushed them to the KNUST Hospital.
