Zimbabwean music star apologises after kicking fan off stage
Zimbabwean music star, Rodney Mashandure, famous by his stage name Jah Master, has apologized for kicking a fan who had gone on stage during his performance.
The incident happened on Sunday during a state-sponsored gala to protest against sanctions imposed by the US and European Union against politicians and companies linked to human rights abuses.
A video of the incident sparked condemnation against the musician.
Jah Master has said in a Facebook post that he will take the fan for a medical checkup and give him all proceeds from the show.
State-owned Herald newspaper has tweeted a video of the incident:
Jah Master has apologised for this incident in which he kicked a fan at a concert at the weekend. In a lengthy Facebook post, the artiste said he is taking the fan for medical assessment. He said he will also give the fan all proceeds from the show.
