You’ll see your smoothness level by close of polls – Ursula Owusu to Kennedy Agyapong
The Member of Parliament for the Ablekuma West constituency, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, is confident that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will beat Kennedy Agyapong with not less than 80 per cent of the votes in her constituency.
Speaking to the media after casting her ballot, the Communications and Digitalisation minister, said that the ‘King Makers’ in the constituency have pledged their support to Dr Bawumia and they are all for the ‘DMB project’.
According to her, they have done extensive work before the November 4 elections and she is confident the delegates won’t let Dr. Bawumia down.
“At the end of the day, everybody will see his smoothness level by close of polls, even he [Kennedy Agyapong] knows it will really be a big task for him to change what has already been ordained.
“We’ve lived here for a long time, we have been working with our constituents for a long time, we’ve engaged and spoken with them, and they have given us their concerns and expectations. We had our last meeting last night and they told us the party’s best fortunes lie with Dr. Bawumia,” Mrs. Ursula Owusu said.
Delegates of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) across the various constituencies in the country have started voting to elect a flagbearer for the party in the 2024 elections.
A total of 203,439 delegates are expected to cast their ballots in all the 275 constituencies across the country.
