The children of the late former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, offered a heartfelt tribute to their mother during her state funeral in Accra on Friday.
Speaking on behalf of his siblings, Kimathi Rawlings reflected on a woman whose life was anchored in conviction, clarity and an unshakeable sense of purpose.

One line from Kimathi’s tribute captured her unwavering nature: “You lived your values without reservation, believing that actions were either right or wrong and never settled for the uncommitted grey space in between.”
He spoke of her as a woman who led with purpose, whether in public life or within their home, and someone whose influence extended far beyond politics.

Kimathi also reflected on the powerful partnership between his mother and the late former President Jerry John Rawlings.
