Yaw Yeboah set to join MLS Expansion side San Diego FC
Ghanaian winger Yaw Yeboah is nearing a transfer to San Diego FC, a Major League Soccer expansion team.
Yeboah’s contract with Columbus Crew expired after the 2023 MLS season, as the team declined to exercise their contract option.
Fortunately, the 27-year-old is eligible for the MLS Re-Entry Process, allowing him to join a new club.
As a product of the Right to Dream Academy, which has a stake in San Diego FC, Yeboah brings valuable experience to the team ahead of their debut season.
The Ghana international has played in four top European leagues, including stints in England, France, Spain, and Poland.
His notable performances include winning the MLS final with Columbus Crew in 2021.
