Withdraw from collation centres – NDC directs supporters
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged its supporters to withdraw from collation centres nationwide and return home as the party’s leadership takes charge of the remaining electoral processes.
In a statement signed by the party’s General Secretary, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the NDC expressed gratitude to its members, agents, and supporters for their dedication and vigilance throughout the elections.
Mr Kwetey described their commitment as “remarkable and inspiring.”
The party assured its members that the leadership and a team of experienced professionals are fully equipped to manage the collation and declaration processes diligently and transparently.
“At this juncture, we call on all of you—our members who have dutifully stationed yourselves at collation centres across the country—to now leave these centres and return home,” the statement read.
The NDC emphasised that this is the time to trust the party’s leadership and technical staff to manage the rest of the process.
“Our party’s leadership, together with our team of experienced professionals, is fully prepared and equipped to ensure that every aspect of the collation and declaration process is handled diligently and transparently,” the statement added.
The party urged its supporters to remain calm, confident, and united, assuring them that every vote cast for the NDC would be protected.
“Together, we will secure the victory that Ghana deserves,” the statement concluded.
