WHO to investigate Ghana’s COVID-19 peak claims

The World Health Organization (WHO) has said it would investigate government’s claim, the country’s COVID-19 cases has reached its peak.

By reaching a peak, the government suggested the generally the increasing trend of cases would be going down, a sign of progress in the fight against the deadly virus.

The claim first made by Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Patrick Aboagye, has been rejected by some analysts who cast doubt on the assertions.

Coronavirus may never go away, WHO warns

According to some health experts who rejected the claims, the country is yet to reach its peak citing the rising numbers in Ghana’s COVID-19 cases.

Speaking at the WHO Africa media leader briefing on COVID-19, WHO Regional Director for Africa, Dr Matshidiso Moeti said although Ghana’s aggressive testing for the disease is commendable, there is a need to probe the claim of peaking.

“What we’re predicting now is that, we might reach a peak at a slower pace but at a lower level of cases in countries. And we will need to look with the Ghana health authorities and their data and see the conditions, trends and the basis for which they’re saying that they have peaked,” she said.

Don’t allow WHO into the country…they should do their investigations with the information they have.

Childish response. Ignoring data does not make the facts vanish.

WHO should really be banned in Africa. They want to implement their philanthropic vaccination and they want the number case high. They don’t believe Ghana reach his peak time.
    This is my suggestion:
    1. They should start investigating on all contaminated test that was sent in Africa( Tanzani and Madagascar)
2 . They should should assist and support all herbal protocol discovery to fight the virus in Africa.
    3. They should investigate in the hospital if the virus is killing as they predicted.
We just have the feeling from them that here in Africa we cannot do anything right. This mentality should stop.
Go and investigate in USA and CHINA if the figures the give us us right.

WHO appears to have no clue. What has it done about faulty test kits, infected PPEs and so on. What effort has it made to approve the COV Tea from Madagascar. Doesn’t WHO realise that this continent is unique and our knowledge in herbal medicine cannot be ignored.
In any case, if the Madagascar tea is curing people in a time when the WEST has no cure, why isn’t the WHO paying attention to Madagascar

Who is investigating WHO on their basis of investigating GHANA? Have they investigated US, UK, CHINA and other countries?
