Popular TikTokers in Ghana, Wesley Kesse, Erkuah Official and Emma Ifeanyi, have disclosed that they earn about GH₵5,000 to GH₵10,000 daily through the skits they post on their TikTok pages.
The TikTokers noted that they make most of their money from advertisements for companies, live streams, and donations from friends.
Erkuah Offical, Emma Ifeanyi, and Wesley Kesse narrated their stories on how they started using the TikTok app. They said they took advantage of the ‘lockdown’ era during the COVID-19 outbreak to explore ways to generate online content.
Erkuah Official revealed how the profit she has made from TikTok has been able to change her life from a humble background.
“This is how we make our money. When people, like brands, come to us and want us to advertise something for them, I charge them and make a video for them, and we also make money through live streams,” Erkuah Official revealed in an interview monitored by The Ghana Report on TV3. “I can now buy myself shoes, beautiful dresses and wigs”.
Erkuah currently has over 4.3M followers on TikTok.
Emma Ifeanyi and Wesley Kesse also revealed that they usually run promotions for brands, act as ambassadors, and use their platforms to sell and make money.
The three said they earn GH₵ 5,000 to GH₵ 10,000 daily.
The three popular TikTokers advised viewers and those already on TikTok to make positive use of the TikTok app since the app could be beneficial.
