Ahead of today’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Mali, Ghana’s Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo, has revealed that he has a strategic plan in place after thoroughly scouting the opposition.

Addressing the media at a pre-match press conference on Wednesday, Coach Addo expressed confidence in his team’s preparation, stating that the Black Stars are well-equipped to face the Eagles of Mali on the road.

He said his team has worked on a plan for the Mali game and will aim for a good result.

“We have a plan. How we want to play. We have observed them well. Of course, most of their players play in Ligue 1. We have our ideas but of course we cannot tell them,” Coach Otto Addo said.

Today’s highly anticipated match between Mali and Ghana is set to kick off at 7 pm.

Following this encounter, the Black Stars will return to Ghana to face Central African Republic on June 10 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
