We accept we lost the game; we didn’t do well- Hearts of Oak Head Coach
Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club head coach, Aboubakar Ouattara, is reeling from missed chances after the Phobians’ latest loss in the Ghana Premier League.
Hearts are winless in four straight games after losing to Bechem United, Dreams FC and Bibiani Gold Stars before losing 1-0 to Nations FC.
Nations FC defender and captain Razak Simpson scored with a brilliant long-range strike on his return to action for Nations after playing in Ghana’s 3-0 Madagascar in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Speaking in a post-game interview, Aboubakar Ouattara sounded his dissatisfaction over his team’s struggles to score goals.
“Today, we lost to one of the most organized teams. We did everything right, unfortunately, it’s the same disaster we have; the ability to score, we have a problem with that. We lost, we accept it. We accept we lost the game because we didn’t do well” Ouattara said.

Hearts drop to sixth place in the 18-team Ghana Premier League standings. Scroll down to watch Razak Simpson’s against Hearts.
