Muslims have gathered from far and near at the Black Star Square to mark this year’s Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations in grand style.

Eid-ul-Fitr is a major celebration on the Islamic calendar that climaxes the 30-day fasting and prayer period of Ramadan.

National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, is expected to lead Muslims in prayers at the event, with President John Dramani Mahama and other important Muslim dignitaries in attendance.
