Three regional ministers appointed by President John Dramani Mahama on January 14, 2025, have gone through the vetting process on Monday, January 27.
They were grilled by the Appointments Committee of Parliament to test their expertise and to make their vision known to Ghanaians.
The nominees were Tia Ibrahim, Minister-designate for the North East Region; Dr. Frank Amoakohene, Minister-designate for the Ashanti Region; and Akamugri Atanga Donatus, Minister-designate for the Upper East Region.
The appointment of the regional ministers aims to strengthen governance and ensure effective administration across their regions.
