[VIDEO]: Ablakwa appears before Appointments Committee

Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Minister-designate for Foreign Affairs, has appeared before the Appointments Committee of Parliament to undertake his vetting process following his nomination.

He is expected to respond to questions on how he intends to oversee Ghana’s foreign policy and international diplomacy.

The seasoned politician is the chairman of Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL), tasked by President Mahama to investigate and document cases of alleged corruption and recover misappropriated state resources.

Before then, he served as Deputy Minister of Information under President John Evans Atta Mills.

He also served as a Ranking Member of the Education Committee in Parliament, championing access to quality education for underprivileged communities.
