The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released provisional results of candidates who sat for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates in 2022.
According to WAEC, a total of 43,742 candidates sat for the examination.
The entry figure is composed of 20,164 males and 23,578 females. A total of 76 of the candidates had visual impairment, and two had hearing impairment.
Also, 901 candidates had their results withheld for engaging in alleged examination malpractices.
The Council said the withheld results of candidates would be released or cancelled based on outcome investigations.
