The Ghana Police Service has arrested 56 persons during a series of intelligence-driven operations throughout the Western North Region.
In a Facebook update on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, the police announced that these arrests, conducted in various towns and villages, were part of their Christmas Special Operations, which aim to bolster security and uphold law and order during the holiday season.
The week-long operations focused on significant areas, including Sefwi-Bodi, Asawinsos, Dadieso, Juaboso, Akontombra, Sefwi Debiso, Enchi, Sefwi Bekwai, Donyina, and Bidiem.
