The police have arrested seven suspects for firing indiscriminately during the installation of a paramount Chief at Sampa in the Bono Region.
According to a police statement, one person died, while seven others sustained injuries during the incident.
“Two single-barrel guns have been retrieved. All the suspects are in custody assisting the investigation,” the police said.
In an amateur video making rounds on social media, some individuals were engaged in sporadic shooting as others ran in different directions to take cover.
