In a shocking incident, a newlywed couple’s joyous wedding day turned into a near-disaster when their car was involved in a severe accident on the Techiman-Kumasi highway.
The incident happened on Saturday, August 17, 2024.
Information gathered indicates that just moments after exchanging their vows, the blissful couple was en route to their reception when their vehicle collided with another car, leaving their wedding car severely damaged.

Eyewitnesses described the scene as “chaotic” and “terrifying,” but miraculously, the bride and groom escaped the wreckage unhurt..
“I couldn’t believe my eyes,” said one witness.
“The car was badly damaged, the couple seemed shaken but unharmed. It’s a miracle they survived,” another witness added.
The cause of the accident is still unknown, but authorities are investigating the incident.
