[VIDEO]: Horrific scenes as 2 passengers burn to death at East Legon
A tragic incident unfolded in East Legon today [Saturday, October 12, 2024] as two vehicles were razed by fire, completely burning the occupants beyond recognition.
According to videos shared by the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), a burning electric pole is likely to have sparked the fire which extended to the cars.
The four occupants were trapped but unfortunately, two were burnt to death.
According to preliminary police investigations, the suspect driver, has been identified as Salifu Amoako, rammed his vehicle into another vehicle on the Dzanie Ashie Street at East Legon.
Both vehicles caught fire and burnt beyond recognition.
The suspect driver and other surviving victims are currently receiving medical treatment.
Personnel of the GNFS were at the scene of the incident and evacuated the dead bodies from the destroyed vehicles.
