[VIDEO] Galamseyer assaults Chinese employer over unpaid wages

A heated dispute over unpaid wages at an illegal mining (galamsey) site in Ghana turned violent when an excavator operator allegedly assaulted his Chinese employer.

The incident occurred in a remote mining area where the operator had been demanding payment for his services, which he claimed had been overdue for several weeks.

According to eyewitnesses, the confrontation escalated when the employer refused to address the operator’s complaints, leading to a physical altercation.

A passerby intervened to separate the two parties.

The Chinese employer sustained injuries as a result of the fisticuffs.
