Vic Mensa Predicts A Win For Black Sherif’s BET Nomination

Ghana-American rapper Vic Mensah forecasts a win for Black Sherif in the upcoming 2022 BET Hip-Hop Awards.

The singer explained that Black Sherif’s style of music appeals to foreign audiences and should work in his favour in the Best International Flow category.

Black Sherif has been nominated for the Best International Flow category for the 2022 BET awards to be hosted by Fat Joe. He contends with Benjamin Epps (France), Blxckie (South Africa), Central Cee (Uk), Haviah Mighty (Canada), Knucks (Uk), Le Juiice (France), Nadia Nakai (Zimbabwe) and Tasha & Tracie (Brazil).

Vic Mensah, discussing the lineup of the concert, spoke about the newest sensation in the Ghanaian music space; Black Sherif. He mentioned to Cookie Tee on TV3 NewDay that he believes that Black Sherif will win because his music appeals to the American audience.

“He (Black Sherif) should win it. I think he should win 100%. The thing about Black Sherif is that he has a way with his words that appeals to us in America. As soon as we hear, we don’t even know what he is saying, but we love it.”
