A 26-year-old Ghanaian living in the United States has been charged with first-degree murder for stabbing his brother to death.
The accused, Carl Agyemang, was arrested on Saturday after his 23-year-old brother, Floyd Agyemang, was found in their family home with a stab wound in the chest.
According to the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office, Floyd was pronounced dead at a hospital later that day.
An autopsy has since ruled his death as a homicide.
Police officers found Carl Agyemang near the home in Willingboro, New Jersey.
He still had the knife used in the murder when he was arrested.
In a tribute, the family said “Floyd was not just a beloved son and friend, but so much more to all who knew him”.

This comes after a 22-year-old UK-based Ghanaian stabbed his parents in a fit of homicidal rage.
The brutal attack claimed the lives of both parents and left their 17-year-old daughter fighting for her life.
The incident happened in Barnard Road, Gorton, in the United Kingdom, Greater Manchester Police said.
The suspect has been arrested and faces a lengthy prison sentence for his heinous crimes.
