U-20 AFCON 2025: Desmond Ofei invites 35 players to begin Black Satellites camping

Thirty-five players have been invited by Black Satellites head coach Desmond Ofei to begin camping for the next assignment.

The 35 players will kickstart the initial preparations for the upcoming U-20 Africa Cup of Nations tournament scheduled for next year.

The camping is scheduled to begin on January 3 to January 9, 2025, for the first process.

The invited players for the first phase of camping were drawn from Ghana Premier League clubs while players from the Division One League will also be selected for the second phase between 10th-15th January, 2025.

Ghana booked a place in the next U-20 AFCON after finishing second at the WAFU B U-20 Championships which was staged in Togo.

The camping will be an opportunity for the current technical team to identify players to improve the players who were key for Ofei during the WAFU B tournament.

The U-20 AFCON is scheduled to be staged in Côte d’Ivoire from 26 April to 18 May, 2025.
