Two more die of COVID-19, total cases cross 7,000
Two more people have died from the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, bringing the death toll to 34.
The total COVID-19 cases have passed 7,000 as 2,317 people have recovered.
This was contained in an update on the Ghana Health Service’s (GHS) official COVID-19 website, Tuesday, May 26, 2020.

The update revealed 153 new cases had been recorded, bringing the total case count to 7,117.
According to the update on the Ghana Health Service’s website, 60% of the cases are males with the remaining 40%, females.
Regional breakdown
So far, 14 out of 16 regions in the country have recorded coronavirus cases.
The Greater Accra Region remains the number one the chart with 5008 cases, followed by the Ashanti and Western Regions with 1,085 and 344 cases respectively.
