Two Cops Interdicted For Unprofessional Conduct
Two police officers have been interdicted for unprofessional conduct.
The officers, Inspector Martha Ackah and Sergeant Felicia Ocran of the Asokwa Divisional MTTD, Kumasi, were seen in a viral video taking bribe from a commercial bus driver.
They were heard arguing over the amount given, with a warning that this time “was just a consideration”.
They further threatened to take the victim to the Asokwa Police Station.
A statement from the police announcing their interdiction said this will allow for a thorough investigation into the case.
The two will be prosecuted after investigations are concluded.
The police also used the opportunity to urge the affected victims to come forward and support the team of investigators to enable an expeditious investigation.
