Top Scouts attend POFA Scouting Tournament in Ghana

The maiden edition of the POFA Scouting Tournament was held at the iconic Cape Coast Stadium, attracting scouts from global football powerhouses, including Chelsea, Real Betis, and Necaxa in Mexico.

The event showcased the immense talent Ghana has to offer, with eight teams battling for glory in an exciting display of skill and determination.

Participating teams included Dabo Soccer Academy, Razgold FC, Greenville FC, Black Emancipation, Vision FC, Team Move, Dansoman Wise XI, and Ghanaadom FC.

 

These teams delivered thrilling performances throughout the competition, leaving spectators and scouts in awe of their potential.

After days of intense competition, Dabo Soccer Academy emerged victorious, clinching the championship in a fiercely contested final against Dansoman Wise XI.

Their triumph earned them medals, a trophy, and a cash prize, marking a memorable moment in the tournament’s history.

Achirou Ismahila, the African scout for Chelsea, expressed his excitement about the talent on display.

“With such brilliant players emerging, the future of Ghana’s Black Stars remains bright,” he remarked.

The POFA Scouting Tournament not only highlighted Ghana’s reputation as a hub for football talent but also created a platform for young players to showcase their abilities to an international audience.

The presence of scouts from Chelsea, Real Betis, and Necaxa underscores the global recognition of the country’s potential to produce world-class footballers.
