Top 10 social media reactions to Ghana Police Service’s elevator inauguration

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) of the Ghana Police Service, Mr. Oppong-Boanuh (Ag.), yesterday, August 19,  inaugurated an elevator at the Headquarters of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) in Accra.

Describing it as a relief to visitors who would visit the six-storey building of the CID, a tweet by the Ghana Police Service said visitors initially used to climb a flight of stairs to get to the high offices of the department.

But whereas the Police are applauding themselves for installing a new elevator, the public appear worried about why the service will pride itself with such a trivial matter in a time where there are serious security concerns in the country.
