Too early to think about GPL title – Bibiani Goldstars coach Frimpong Manso
Bibiani Goldstars Head Coach, Frimpong Manso, has tempered expectations regarding his team’s potential Ghana Premier League title win, citing premature speculation.
Despite an impressive start to the 2024/25 season, with five wins and three draws, Manso remains cautious.
Goldstars are currently on top of the domestic top-flight table after eight matches, accumulating 18 points from a possible 24.
In an interview, Manso stated that it’s too early to focus on winning the Premier League title this season.
It’s too early to think about winning the Ghana Premier League title. We are heading to the ninth week and we are playing 34 games so there is still a long way to go, he explained.
Meanwhile, the experienced Ghanaian tactician has shifted his attention to the upcoming game against Dreams FC.
I’m thinking about my next game rather than thinking about the 34th games of the season. he added.
Bibiani Goldstars will host the struggling Dreams FC at Dun’s Park for matchday 9 of the domestic top-flight campaign.
