Together we can ensure greater food sufficiency and security – Bawumia

Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has reaffirmed his dedication to integrating more technology into the agricultural value chain.

According to Dr. Bawumia, his administration would set up District Agric Mechanization Centres nationwide if elected president to ensure greater food sufficiency and security, he said.

Dr Bawumia further stated that the quest for a future filled with innovation and bold solutions is increasingly gathering pace.

He expressed optimism that together, Ghanaians, under his presidency can craft a nation filled with possibilities.

In a post on X(formerly known as Twitter) concerning his campaign tour of the Western North, he said “I received a rousing, heartwarming welcome at Suaman, Juaboso, and Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai constituencies on Wednesday during the last day of my campaign tour of the Western North Region.

“The quest for a future filled with innovation and bold solutions is increasingly gathering pace, and together, I am confident that we can craft a nation filled with Possibilities. Thank you Western North!”

He started his campaign tour of the Western North Region in the Bia East, West and Aowin constituencies on Monday.

“I continued to engage and throw more light on the policies and programmes I intend to implement, including a greater infusion of technology into the agriculture value chain and the setting up of District Agric Mechanization Centres across the country. Together, we can ensure greater food sufficiency and security,” Dr Bawumia wrote.
