Former US President Barack Obama has eulogized the Queen of “Rock ‘N’ Roll” Tina Turner, describing her as a woman who is raw, powerful and unstoppable.
The late Tina Turner, who died at the age of 83 is well known for her many classic recordings with her winning combination of R&B, funk, rock and pop, all performed with her distinctive raw vocal power.
Barack Obama on his Twitter page on May, 24, in paying tribute to the legendary female vocalist penned, “Tina Turner was raw. She was powerful. She was unstoppable. And she was unapologetically herself—speaking and singing her truth through joy and pain; triumph and tragedy. Today we join fans around the world in honoring the Queen of Rock and Roll, and a star whose light will never fade”.

According to Beyoncé, Tina Turner was an “epitome of passion and power”.
