The Economic and Organised Crime Office(EOCO) has declared three persons wanted for various fraudulent activities.
EOCO published the list on their social media pages on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.
The wanted persons are Ezekiel Mensah Otoo, Derrick Obeng, also known as Chilling and Nicholas Gyekye.
Ezekiel is wanted for allegedly stealing and involvement in SIM swap fraud, while Derrick is wanted for alleged stealing, defrauding by false pretence and money laundering.
However, the publication did not state the crime Nicholas committed.
EOCO has urged the public to provide information of their whereabouts to their head office or report to the nearest police station.
This comes after an Accra High Court sentenced two persons to 12 months imprisonment for conspiracy to steal, stealing and money laundering.
They were part of a criminal syndicate based in Assin Fosu that was arrested in April 2022 by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).
According to a statement by EOCO, they were involved in mobile banking application fraud and sim swap fraud.
