Think of the future – Akyere Bruwaa on Body enhancement

Lately, it has become the order of the day for our female celebrities to go under the knife to look good for reasons best known to them.

Some of these women feel proud of the enhancement and have come out publicly to speak about it.

Actress Kisa Gbekle has on countless times spoken about her butt enhancement and how proud she feels about it.

Now veteran Ghanaian actress Akyere Bruwaa thinks body enhancement is not the best and she is asking celebrities involved or anyone thinking of doing the same to think of future implications.

“Do the celebrities think of the future before going under the knife to look good? If they do, I don’t think they will go for anybody’s enhancement. When you grow old the body becomes weak and no matter how you try to maintain it, you cannot keep up and that is a natural phenomenon. Although I have never gone under the knife before the pain, I feel in my body at my age is sometimes unbearable and I wonder the pain these celebrities who have gone under the knife will go through in their old age,” she told Graphic Showbiz.

According to her, under no circumstances should any celebrity or any lady think her body sags or want to look good and go under the knife because the disadvantages outweigh the advantages.

“What is the use of going to fix your body when you cannot maintain it for the rest of your life it is sad that all of the celebrities who do that are mostly young ones. If these celebrities are doing it for the rich men out there then they got it all wrong, ’she stated.

“Have you ever seen someone of my age doing such things before? What are we teaching the young ones? We are supposed to be role models for these young ones and when we keep doing this what precedent are we setting for them?” she asked.

Akyere Bruwaa added that she has been relevant without any of these and it is about time these celebrities thought twice when they want to consider doing that.

Meanwhile, Akyere Bruwaa says she is surprised how fast her talk show ‘Way Back’ has been accepted by Ghanaians. Way Back discusses the beginnings of celebrities and how far they have come.

Personalities who have passed through the show include Emelia Brobbey, Irene Opare, Paa George, Mikki Osei Berko, Nii Saka Brown, Kaakyire Kwame Appiah among others.
