The next thing to try is Ghana Jollof – Evra reveals after arrival in Ghana

Former Manchester United and France star, Patrice Evra, is craving for jollof after he touched down in Ghana on Tuesday, 13 September 2022.

The football star wants no other jollof but the Ghana version, which has been made popular by many foreigners, who tout the meal to be better than other versions from Nigeria and Senegal.

He was well received by some television personalities and fans at the Kotoka Internation Airport (KIA) to begin a promotional tour.

The former Monaco left-back is in the country to publicise his new book titled ‘I Love This Game’, and he has been on a promotional tour across the globe.

Upon his arrival, the ex-footballer expressed his delight at his warm reception.

He also revealed that he had heard so much about the popular Ghana Jollof and couldn’t wait to taste it finally.

“It’s crazy. I didn’t expect this kind of warm reception from all the Ghanaian people,” an excited Evra said.

“It’s my first time in Ghana and I’ll remember that all my life. I love this game. I already feel the love. I’ve been to Nigeria and Senegal and I can tell you this is the best welcome. The next thing to try is the Ghana Jollof”.

He is expected to visit his native country, Senegal, as well as Ivory Coast and Nigeria.
