The Electronic Warfare On Ukraine

Reports say, Russia is conducting successful electronic warfare against Ukrainian drones, The Economist reports, citing defense industry sources.

“The Russians are very, very good at what they do … They are performing black magic in electromagnetic defence. They can jam frequencies, spoof GPS, send a drone to the wrong altitude so that it simply drops out of the sky,” an unnamed defense industry insider says.

The Ukrainian army is to gain “significant and high-tech capacity” in the coming weeks, but it will still struggle against the Russian forces, the source said.
