MP for the Ningo-Prampram constituency, Samuel Nartey George is optimistic that he will win the on-going primaries by more than 60%.

The MP who is seeking re-election to represent the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2020 general election is confident that he will win the contest with a margin similar to that of the 2015 primaries in which he beat then incumbent, Enoch Teye Mensah.

“I have been overwhelmed by the love delegates have showed me, they had filled my house as early as 2am this morning, started the period of worship and prayers, it’s just been awesome…I said this before the beginning of the election that the result will be similar to that between myself and ET Mensah in the 2015 election and you will see it,” he said.

However, Michael Tetteh Kwetey, the contender of Sam George says he is unable to predict his winning margin but remains confident he will be declared winner at the end of the voting process.

Sam George is in a heated contest with his former constituency Chairman, Michael Tetteh Kwetey.
