Court To Determine Afia Schwarzenegger’s Fate On January 17

The Tema High Court has set January 17, 2022, to deliver a sentence in the legal case involving the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling NPP, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako alias Chairman Wontumi and socialite Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, popularly known as Afia Schwarzenegger.

The court, presided over by Emmanuel Ankamah disclosed this on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, after the legal team of Afia led by Adrian Duke Amaning moved a motion to notify the court about a filed sentence imposed on his client on December 1, 2022.

It will be recalled that Afia Schwarzenegger at the beginning of the month was sentenced to 10 days in prison as a result of defamation against Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi.

Afia according to Chairman Wontumi, Afia Schwarzenegger made some false sexual allegations against him on United Showbiz, an entertainment show hosted by Felicity Nana Ama Agyeman, aka Empress Nana Ama Mcbrown on UTV.

Chairman Wontumi then decided to sue Afia Schwarzenegger, Nana Ama Mcbrown, Fadda Dickson Narh, Kwame Asare Obeng, alias Kwame A Plus and Emmanuel Barnes alias Mr. Logic who also had issues with the law.

Afia Schwarzenegger was then sentenced to ten days imprisonment whiles the other accomplices were fined GH¢60,000 each (5,000 penalty units).

At the time Afia was sued, she wasn’t in the country but today she appeared in court with her legal team.
