Prince Nkrumah, a teacher from Assin Fosu, has allegedly committed suicide by consuming weedicide, according to sources.
According to sources, Prince decided to take his own life following a breakup with his girlfriend, who is a nurse.
Reports indicate that Prince had provided financial support to this nurse during her training.
The relationship is said to have concluded when she communicated to him that she was no longer interested and ceased responding to his calls and messages.
“The incident occurred after a nurse he had financially supported throughout her nursing education ended their relationship, informing him she was no longer interested and subsequently ignoring his calls and messages,” a social media post detailing the story stated.
Before his death, Prince reportedly left a note for his family, requesting that they not worry and emphasising that the decision was personal.
“In a suicide note, he asked his family not to worry, emphasising that it was a personal decision to end his life,” the post added.
