Taylor Swift Donates to LA Fire Relief Fund, Calls It ‘Heartbreaking’

Singer Taylor Swift recently announced that she has made several donations to relief foundations amid the ongoing LA fire crisis.

The wildfire tragedy that has engulfed Los Angeles has caused massive amounts of damage to property and taken multiple lives.

While authorities are working tirelessly to combat the situation, several big personalities are doing what they can to provide any help possible.

Music icon Taylor Swift recently took to her Instagram story to open up about the wildfires in Los Angeles which have affected many citizens.

In her story, the TTPD hitmaker expressed that she was in deep sorrow seeing all the devastation that the fires have caused to countless families in California.

She further added, “It’s been heartbreaking to see these stories unfold. So much suffering, loss and destruction.”

Swift noted how some people are facing “the most challenging times of their lives” and lauded the “amazing organizations and groups” that are coming forward to help “communities rebuild.”

The singer disclosed a list of all the organizations and announced she has also made donations to provide aid.

Swift asked her followers to donate as well.

She wrote, “These are the organizations I have donated to.

If you feel compelled or able to donate, please do.”

The organizations she mentioned are:

  • California Community Foundation Fund
  • Direct Relief
  • Greater Los Angeles Education Foundation
  • Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles
  • Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation
  • Los Angeles Regional Food Bank
  • Los Angeles Unified School District Education Foundation Emergency Relief Fund
  • MusiCares
  • Pasadena Educational Foundation Eaton Fire Response Fund

Swift also mentioned the official accounts of these organizations in her story.

The LA fires have resulted in many families losing their homes, forcing them to evacuate to a safer location.
