Swedru All Blacks remain top after Dwarfs draw
Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs played to a 1-1 draw with Access Bank Division One League Zone Two leaders Swedru All Blacks at the Robert Mensah Stadium on Sunday.
Enoch Afram put Dwarfs ahead in the 32nd minute, but Junior Yusif equalised for All Blacks shortly after halftime in the 47th minute.
Despite the draw, Swedru All Blacks remain at the top of Zone Two with 14 points, holding a one-point lead over second-placed Sekondi Rospak FC.
At the Gomoa Fetteh WAFA Park, Soccer Intellectuals and New Edubiase United also drew 1-1. John Andoh scored early for Soccer Intellectuals in the 12th minute, but Agyemang Boateng’s 74th-minute goal secured a point for New Edubiase United.
In Tarkwa, Sekondi Rospak FC earned a hard-fought 3-2 win over UCC Youngsters. Joseph Ntow Ansah and Emmanuel Junior Quarshie scored for Rospak in the 10th and 30th minutes, but UCC Youngsters fought back with goals from Godfred Abban and Francis Odoom in the 53rd and 90th minutes.
Ernest Arhin clinched the victory for Rospak with a stoppage-time goal.
