A suspected armed robber, identified as Baba Mohammed, has been shot dead by unknown assailants and his body dumped at Kasoa High Tension in the Awutu Senya East Constituency in the Central Region.
The body of Baba Mohammed was reportedly dumped in the town by an unidentified taxi cab in the wee hours of Thursday, February 8, 2024.
Information gathered indicates that Baba Mohammed had multiple bullet wounds on his body.
He was quickly rushed to the Kasoa Polyclinic by police officers from the Kasoa Divisional Police Command for treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Some residents say they woke up to find the deceased in a pool of blood and believe he may have been an armed robber who was shot during a robbery operation.
Meanwhile, the body has been deposited at the mortuary, and the police have commenced an investigation into the incident.

Alhassan Azumah was reportedly shot outside his residence in Sokabisi, a suburb of Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region.
Information indicated that the deceased was shot when he entered a scuffle involving his brother, a businessman at the Saboba market, and some robbers.
