Striker Raphael Dwamena set to join Austrian side BW Linz

Ghana international, Raphael Dwamena is close to making a return to football as his move to join Austrian outfit Blau-Weiß Linz nears completion.

The former UD Levante striker in the last few months has been training on his own as he looked forward to earning a move to a club in the summer transfer window.

After impressing Blau-Weiß Linz with his progress after overcoming what has been a recurring heart problem in the last two years, Raphael Dwamena is now set to secure a deal.

The Austrian club is today seeing to it that medical experts conduct a thorough medical examination to be sure all is well with the Ghana forward.

Once that is cleared, the attacker will be handed a contract that will see him play for the side in the 2021/2022 football season.

Raphael Dwamena, 25, in the past excelled while playing for teams such as FC Zurich, as well as Austria Lustenau.
