Former Ghana Premier League top scorer Abednego Tetteh has completed a sensational move to Heart of Lions.
The experienced striker has signed a two-year deal with the Kpando-based club as they aim to excel in the upcoming season.
Tetteh, who won the Golden Boot award two seasons ago, brings a wealth of experience to Heart of Lions.
After a brief stint in the Faroe Islands, the 33-year-old is eager to rediscover his scoring form in the Ghanaian top flight.
His arrival at Heart of Lions is a major coup for the club, who have already acquired the services of former Hearts of Oak striker Kwadwo Obeng Jr.
The formidable partnership of Tetteh and Obeng Jr is expected to strike fear into opposing defences.
Under the guidance of experienced coach Bashir Hayford, Heart of Lions have undergone a squad overhaul and are poised to challenge for a top-four finish.
The club narrowly escaped relegation last season but has shown ambition in the transfer market.
Tetteh’s journey has seen him represent clubs like Bechem United, Hearts of Oak, and King Faisal, as well as stints in Sudan and India.
His return to the Ghana Premier League is a significant boost to the league’s competitiveness.
