Stray dog bites 13 people in two days at Gomoa Dominase
A stray dog bit 13 people within two days at Gomoa Dominase in Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
The incident has raised concern and fear among the indigenes of the town.
It is reported that amongst the thirteen victims, eight individuals are currently receiving treatment and have been admitted at Potsin Polyclinic and Buduatta Health Centre whilst the other five have already received treatment and have been discharged.
Some of the victims who have been treated and discharged disclosed that their encounters with the stray dog were very terrifying and most of them were attacked individually hence sustaining varying degrees of injury.
According to an Assembly Member for Gomoa Dominase Electoral Area, Bennie Mossulenu, keeping dogs in Gomoa Dominase was declared a taboo 400 years ago.
