Spio-Garbrah files to contest NDC primaries in Essikado-Ketan constituency
Dr. Sebastian Spio-Garbrah, son of National Democratic Congress (NDC) stalwart, Dr. Ekow Spio-Garbrah, has filed his nomination forms to contest NDC’s parliamentary primaries in the Essikado-Ketan constituency in the Western Region.
Filing records obtained by Asaase News from sources familiar with the NDC filing process indicate that Sebastian Spio-Garbrah submitted his nomination papers on Tuesday 21 March 2023.
The Essikado-Ketan constituency is located in the Sekondi Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly of the Western Region of Ghana.
The seat is currently occupied by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Joe Ghartey is the sitting Member of Parliament for the constituency.
The NDC will on Saturday 13 May 2023, hold its national congress to elect the party’s presidential candidate and all 275 parliamentary candidates for the 2024 general elections.
