Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has stated that South Korea utilizing their chances proved to be the difference in the game involving Ghana and the Asian country.

Otto Addo made this comment after Ghana lost 1-0 to South Korea in the last of its friendly games in the 2025 calendar year.

Ghana lost 2-0 to Japan ahead of suffering the loss to South Korea with the winning goal coming in the 63rd minute through Lee Tae-Seok.

Despite Hwang Hee-Chang having his penalty attempt saved by Ghana goalkeeper Benjamin Asare in the 74th minute, Otto Addo stated that the South Korea’s better execution in front of goal proved to be the difference in the game.

“They-South Korea-were more clinical with the chances they had.”

“I think we had good ball possession but also a lot of chances which we couldn’t use. The difference was that they used their chances even though they missed a penalty. I think the game was kind of even, I think it was good to watch” Otto Addo said.
