One of the murdered police officers at Buduburam, Micheal Dzeamesi was on Saturday, September 14 laid to rest at Dagbamete in the Volta region.
The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia led a government delegation to the funeral.
Consoling the families of the murdered officers, the Vice President tweeted “Government, the Police Service and the generality of Ghanaians are grateful for the dedicated service rendered by Inspr. Michael Dotse Dzeamesi while in active service, We pray for God’s protection and blessing for the deceased and the family.
Rest In Peace Inspr. Michael Dotse Dzeamesi.”
Inspector Michael Dotse Dzeamesi and L/Cpl. Awal Mohammed were gruesomely shot and killed while on official duty on 28th August this year.
They were allegedly shot by one Kofi Duah who claims he killed the officers in a bid to revenge his late mother.
